ODBC Connection DNS In Plesk October 2, 2007

Hi,
Sometimes may you forced about using ACCESS databases in PLESK.For make a new ODBC connection between ACCESS databases or other else DBs and *.asp files on server uses PLESK you should modify the connection like these notes:
- Login to PLESK control panel.
- Search your exact domain.(For Admins)
- In your domain configuration, choose ODBC setting.
- Click on “Add New ODBC DSN”.
- Your Connection name is optional. So make it now.
- Explain your description on Connection Description field.
- Choose your Driver type (Microsoft Access Driver *.mdb)
- Let’s go on OK!
- Now in [DBQ] Database File Path write this path which is in some servers: E:\Inetpub\vhosts\YOURDOMAIN.TLD\httpdocs\Your DB Folder \Yourdb.mdb
- If your database has a USERNAME and PASSWORD, write it on fields.
- Please hit the Test button to check your connection.It will be connected.
- Enjoy it.
